Over the past few years, there have been a whole whack-load of new Hot Toys Spider-Man figures, with everything from more offbeat additions like Spider Punk and Cyborg Spider-Man, to MCU classics like the Black and Gold Suit Spider-Man from No Way Home.
Recently, at Disney’s annual D23 fan expo, Hot Toys unveiled yet another new sixth-scale wall crawler in the form of their upcoming W.E.B. of Spider-Man figure.
This exclusive release is inspired largely by the Spidey suit featured in Disney’s Avengers Campus (which if you aren’t familiar is a massive Marvel-themed area located in Disneyland). The figure also borrows heavily from the 2021 comic book series W.E.B of Spider-Man, which is geared towards younger readers in which a teenaged Peter Parker is recruited by Tony Stark to work with other heroes in a new organization known as the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (or W.E.B for short).
The new Hot Toys Spider-Man figure stands at 11.2″ inches tall and includes 30 points of articulation. It also features a masked head sculpt with multiple pairs of interchangeable Spider-Man eye pieces to create different expressions (now a hallmark of Hot Toys’ Spider-Man figures). The figure also includes a new fabric version of the class red and blue suit, a realistic fabric W.E.B. hoodie, a backpack, a spider bot, assorted spider-web shooting effect parts and, of course, a custom figure stand.
While pricing and a pre-orders aren’t available just yet, you may want to keep a close eye on the Sideshow Collectibles website, since they’re the official North American and European distributor of Hot Toys and will have first dibs on making the figure available for purchase. In the meantime, we break out below what you can expect if you do manage to get your web shooters on this bad boy.

According to Hot Toys, the new W.E.B of Spider-Man release will include:

- One masked head sculpt
- Five interchangeable eye pieces featuring a variety of expressions
- Interchangeable hands with black web pattern, including:
- One pair of fists
- One pair of relaxed hands
- One pair of open hands
- One pair of hands for web shooting
- One pair of hands for web swinging
- One backpack
- One spider bot
- Six web strings in different shapes and lengths (attachable to web-shooters)
- One open spider web effect accessory
- A dynamic figure stand with W.E.B. logo and Spider-Man nameplate
Costume
- One newly tailored red and blue Spider-Man costume (based on the suit worn at Disneyland’s Avenger Campus theme area)
- One pair of silver web-shooters
- One grey-colored hoodie featuring the W.E.B. logo
How is this different than other Hot Toys Spider-Man figures?
This isn’t the first time Hot Toys has released Classic Spider-Man costume and a variety of other Spidey suits. The main selling point, however, is the new costume (which as noted above is based on the suit worn by cast members at Disneyland’s Avengers Campus theme area). To be fair, the suit does look pretty awesome, with some unique textures and the inclusion of the new web shooters and spider-bot.
The W.E.B. hoodie and backpack are also new additions (although the Miles Morales Bodega Cat Suit also includes its own unique hoodie and backpack combo).

Final Thoughts
While pre-orders aren’t available just yet, the figure is expected to ship in early 2023 (you can always check out the Sideshow Collectibles website for news and signups).
