About The Nerd Hoard
The Nerd Hoard is a new, independent collectibles guide launched in October 2026. It is not connected to the previous owner of this domain and is not affiliated with Funko, Marvel, DC Comics, any comic publisher, grading company, marketplace or auction house.
What the site covers
- Comic book history for collectors, including the Golden, Silver, Bronze, Copper and Modern ages
- Key comics: first appearances and notable public sales, presented as history
- Funko Pop! figures: how they're made, how the lines are organized, exclusives and numbering
- Which collectible categories are in demand, based on published market data
How guides are written
Guides are written in a neutral editorial voice. Facts, dates, prices and names come from published sources such as Wikipedia, grading companies, auction houses, marketplaces' own reports and established news outlets. Each guide ends with a linked list of its sources. The site publishes no product reviews, ratings or testimonials and makes no claims of first-hand testing.
Not financial advice
Collectibles can lose value. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
The site has no ads, affiliate links, tracking, accounts or forms, and nothing is for sale.
