In the more news from the world of Hot Toys, the company recently unveiled their latest Star Wars sixth-scale figure. In this case it’s none other than Cobb Vanth, the popular gun-totting bad ass from The Mandalorian series on Disney+.
If you’re not familiar with Vanth, he was played by noted film and television actor Timothy Olyphant. The character appeared in several episodes and was originally the marshal of Mos Pelgo, a small, isolated town located in the desert frontier or Tatooine. Vanth first appeared in season 1 sporting the armor of Boba Fett, which he’d purchased from a group of scavenging Jawas (further proof that you can’t leave anything laying around in the Dune Sea).
The new Cobb Vanth figure stands at approximately 12.2″ tall and features Hot Toys’ usual 30 points of articulation in the arms, legs, head and torso. The figure also includes a helmeted and unhelmeted head sculpts, multiple interchangeable hands, a blaster pistol, a jet pack, a detachable rocket with firing effect, thruster effects for the jet pack, a bottle of delicious, delicious blue milk, and of course, a display stand.
While an exact release date for the Cobb Vanth figure is still unknown, Hot Toys has said they expect it to come out sometime towards the end of 2023. In the meantime, it is available for Pre-order from Sideshow Collectibles.
